Jam Inns Ice Factory is location in Fishponds in Bristol. We’ve been there 11 years now moving from a previous site near Bedminster. We offer a collection window on a Saturday morning for pre-arranged & pre-paid collection orders.

Please note you cannot turn up to the factory on the Saturday morning without a pre-arranged & paid collection time window. We are a busy hub for commercial clients, vans, trucks & lorries. We have no payment / invoices facilities at the factory on Saturday mornings for people turning up so please make sure if you need ice for collection this is a advanced order collection as non of our staff will be able to help you on the day.

Collection orders are perfect for weddings, private events & event companies running events in Bristol or surround on Saturdays. You can pop to our factory on a pre-arranged morning collection slot these are typically early morning on a half hour collection window. You pull into one of our loading bays & then one of our team will come out to load your vehicle.

To load your vehicle our team will bring the ice out on a pallet truck, if you are in a car if theres space in the boot, the staff will pop the ice in, if you need to drop the rear seats forward we recommend you do that before arrival. If you have a van our staff will bring the ice to the back of the van & yourself or your staff will be inside the van for them to hand pass the bags to.

We only fork ice in on pallets & supply pallets if you are collecting 700kg + of ice. Otherwise it will be hand-balled in loose bags to your vehicle.

Minimum factory collection order is 100kg (if you need less than 100kg then a supermarket will be your best option).

Bag Pricing:

10 - 14 bags = £8.75 per 10kg bag (only available to regular weekly business customers)

15 - 30 bags = £8.50 per 10kg bag (only available to regular weekly business customers)

31+ Bags = £8.20 per 10kg bag (only available to regular weekly business customers)

Standard Rate Non Regular Customers = £10 per 10kg Bag

** To qualify for business contract pricing you must order weekly for a 4 week period & then following orders will move to contract rates after the the qualifying period.

Delivery Charges:

Factory Collections are exempt from delivery charges.

Payments Methods:

All orders are invoiced out on email, there is two ways to pay either bank transfer or we also have payment links on the invoices to pay via debit card, credit card & apple pay.

Payment Terms:

For one off orders we require you to pay in full to confirm the order within 24 hours of invoice. Please note if you are ordering for a next day delivery the payment would need to reach us latest 5pm the day before however we highly recommend not to leave an order till the day before as booking slots on a Saturday morning always book out early as we restrict the number of vehicles coming to site so people can smoothly & quickly come in & out of our site for a collection. Typically weddings for summer will be booking ice deliveries in during the winter not the week of the wedding. Its a huge risk to wait till the last minute as we are the only ice production factory in the South West once we are full on collection slots that is it & you absolutely do not want to be trying to rush around supermarkets on the day of your wedding trying to find ice. Nearly every supermarket in the country had supply problems for summer 2026 if you need ice just get it booked in. If you are worried about over ordering then ice is the cheapest thing you will be buying, your options are not have enough or have to much & the cost difference in either isn’t worth waiting for a weather report that will almost certainly be wrong anyway. Finishing your wedding with £40-£50 of to much ice it doesn’t matter. Halfway through your wedding running out of ice or leaving it to late & not having any ice….. thats going to be a problem so for this one product…. just over order & except a bit of wastage.

Cancellations & Refunds:

Once ordered the ice is manufactured & held for you. This then cannot be sold to other people as we are holding it for you & other people will be at events with no ice it’s that simple. There is a much higher demand for ice in summer than UK factory capacity can handle so once ordered & paid ice is non refundable.
