Wedding Ice Delivery

When organising a wedding we always recommend a professional event wedding planner to be in control of your wedding bar. If you are ordering for your special day for a wedding or if you are a wedding planner thats using us for the first time we have some helpful information below to make your event run smoothly for ice supply.

We ALWAYS recommend for weddings not to book a delivery for the day of the wedding in the South West of the UK. Typically weddings are mainly on Saturdays May, June, July, August, September. In the South West of the UK Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Somerset, Cheltenham etc if one caravan flips on the M4 / M5 that delivery is going to be delayed & it could be hours. We want to be real with you about multi drop deliveries because this is the most important day of your life & we absolute will not be a problem in that as we know how important the day is.

We are a business to business supplier mainly, so we have thousands of bars, restaurants, festivals & events that we supply. Over a year millions of people will enjoy an event with our ice. But to be transparent & open on any delivery day each vehicle will have up to 50 deliveries to make. If one delivery is caught on the M4 or M5 before a wedding drop there can be a delay, thats the reality of a multi drop driving on the roads.

Ordering from us, we will not have someone on the day of your wedding dedicated to a single A to B drop timed to perfection just before the guest arrive & from our years of experience we want to make sure all expectations are met because we know the roads, we are experienced but we also have limitations out of our control & for that reason we strongly advise against anyone ordering an ice delivery on the day of a wedding.

We recommend getting in freezer storage suitable for the wedding & getting the delivery on a day prior to the wedding like all other food & drink you are having that day ice is no different.

OR alternatively a great option that a lot of event companies do locally to us is organise a collection from our Bristol factory on the day. This is a great option, as you can get one of the caterers for the day to just pop to our factory in Bristol for a pre arranged collection & one of our staff will load the vehicle for you at our factory site. We cater for deliveries within 50 miles but realistically if you send someone to us within an hour of Bristol on a Saturday morning collection window & we load ice in to a car or van for you to take away you’ll have very minimal meltage getting back.

Weddings will normally go through 1kg for drinks or 1.5kg for drinks & cooling **but this can be highly variable wedding to wedding dependant on cocktails, cooling, champagne etc. They typically range between 100kg - 250kg for ice for most weddings. An SUV with the seats down could take 250kg no problem. Our advice if you don’t have freezer storage onsite before the day of a wedding is to organise a collection from our factory on the Saturday morning.

Bag Pricing 10kg Cubed or Crushed Ice:

4-9 bags = £8.65 per bag

10-15 bags = £8.35 per bag

16-30 bags = £8.15 per bag

31+ bags = £7.90 per bag ** (please note this lowest bag price is only available as a special discount for this volume if paying invoices by bank transfer. If you wish to pay via debit or credit card for this volume or higher we will charge the £8.15 bag rate).

Delivery Charges:

Collections from our factory are FREE

Delivery charges depend on postcode so contact us to discuss.

Payments Methods:

All orders are invoiced out on email, there is two ways to pay either bank transfer or we also have payment links on the invoices to pay via debit card, credit card & apple pay.

Payment Terms:

For one off orders we require you to pay in full to confirm the order within 24 hours of invoice. Please note if you are ordering for a next day delivery the payment would need to reach us latest 5pm the day before.

For regular business clients we just need invoices cleared in full by latest 5pm the day prior to delivery to allow our factory team time for load planning for the following day. Please note if payments are not received by 5pm the day prior to delivery unfortunately the load will not show on our load planning software & the delivery will be rescheduled for a future date.
